I loved the spacious Queen Studio. It had good cooking and dining equipment, perfect for making meals. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower facilities were great. The communal kitchen was a fun spot to meet other travelers, and it was kept spotless, making it feel like a home away from home. Tash was a fantastic host, waiting for our arrival and checking in on us. The hikes nearby were amazing, with marked trails that offered beautiful scenery. A couple of downsides, it got a bit chilly at night even in summer, so a heat pump would be a nice addition. Plus, being close to the road made me concerned about noise, though it turned out to be quite quiet. Not many dining options in Arthur's Pass after hours meant planning meals ahead was crucial. Overall, a really enjoyable stay but with room for some enhancements.

The unit boasts a sufficient convection heater that kept things cozy on a chilly arrival, making it a good spot for winter visits. Surprisingly quiet at night despite its proximity to the main road.
The shower drain was quite blocked, and there was almost no hand wash left, which should be addressed. Limited dining options in the area meant driving 12 minutes to the nearest restaurant, and not having fly screens was a concern, especially with bees lurking around.

Had a lovely stay in a cozy room that was surprisingly quiet despite being close to the road. the bed was super comfy. Enjoyed relaxing in the garden area and utilizing the communal kitchen for some late-night snacks. Just a heads up, parking can be a bit tight at times, but it didn't ruin my experience at all! 😊

Solo traveler adventure
The facilities were really clean and warm which was nice due to the cold outside. I had a good chat with other guests around the dining area which felt homey.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but was still acceptable.

I stayed in the Queen Studio for one night, and it was pretty comfy! The kitchen was super handy with everything I needed to cook, and despite being near the road, it was nice and quiet for sleeping. The bathroom was clean, and I loved how peaceful it was overall. Just a heads up, there aren’t many dining options around, so bringing food is a good idea!

would love to return
Such a clean, cozy room with a massive king-sized bed that felt super warm when it was freezing outside. Loved the private bathroom and the kitchenette had everything I needed. The communal dining area was nice too, where you could chill and watch TV. Plus, key card access made it feel secure. Totally enjoyed the stay!
